About Me

Hello! My name is Isaiah Blickenstaff, and I am a philosopher whose work explores the fundamental structures of human experience and meaning.

My broad research interests include metaphysics, moral philosophy, phenomenology, the philosophy of religion, philosophical anthropology, and the thought of Kant, Wittgenstein, and Heidegger. I am especially interested in exploring the ways in which the human person’s perspectival condition intersects with these fields of study.

"Philosophy is not a theory but an activity.”

— Ludwig Wittgenstein
